Some down-to-earth advice on being a grown-up which includes money, being a nice-but-not-too-nice person, dealing with your own mortality and surviving abusing almost any substance in existance.Anna is a brilliant artist. She has the brains, the looks and the guts to talk about serious topics in a wonderfully non-preachy way. More often than not her videos leave me murmouring in agreement. She obviously works hard when editing her videos and has a lot to teach anyone interested in the business of YouTube. Her first book is short and sweet and it made me cry more times than her videos make me laugh. I might be biased, since I've been a fan of hers for years, but she's most definitely a prime example of a human being trying to get stuff done despite the basic meaningless of existence. Or maybe because of it.The book is random, and emotional and all other kinds of raw. You can feel that she is not yet completely comfortable with this longer genre. Still, I find it barely grazes the surface of a life filled with situations worth talking about. I definitely recommend it to anyone who:- has lost a sibling or has a sibling they care a great deal about- ever wanted to create something but didn't know how (or why) to start- is into bad boys in an unhealthy way- is a woman who wants to be taken seriously.There is no doubt in my mind that Anna's followers will devour her book same as me. In fact, I'm already looking forward to her next book.
This book was easy to read even for people with solid English skills.When I first saw the title I thought she would mainly talk about how she dealt with the loss of her sister. For sure it is written for her. But something was missing I can't explain.Nonethless it was a good book. However when you know her videos she won't tell you anything new.Greetings
This is a book clearly directed for young girls who are hungry for fame.It's an autobiography of a YouTuber and encompasses the typical delusions of grandeur that young people "should" strive for.Otherwise it seemed like a self-help book from learned experiences.
i love the writing. I only read a few pages until now, but it's really a page turner.. It's easy to read and a really heart touching story.
